I just received word of the passing of James “Jim” Gilleran, one of the founders of the Master Planned Community of Mission Viejo. Thinking back, I clearly remember an effort in Mission Viejo where the Mission Viejo Company spent a fortune in a failed effort to remove councilman Bob Curtis from office. “Jim T and Jim Gilleran, along with other Alumni volunteers, were most helpful with the April 2005 Grand Opening of the City of Mission Heritage House.
