One Dead, Two Hurt in Cotton Plant, Arkansas ShootingA deadly shooting in eastern Arkansas over the weekend has left one person dead and two others injured. The Woodruff County Sheriff's Office has asked the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division to investigate the shooting, which happened Saturday, Aug. 1, in the 300 block of Susie Avenue in Cotton Plant, Arkansas. Twenty-year-old Omari Chapple of Woodruff County was taken by ambulance to Unity Health–White County Medical Center in Searcy, where he later died from his injuries. Forty-year-old Talisha Chapple, also of Woodruff County, was airlifted to Regional One Health in Memphis.
