(Spring City, UT) — The Black Canyon Fire is up to 500 acres with no containment. It’s burning along the border of Emery and Sanpete counties. Firefighters say it’s burning in steep, inaccessible terrain. It was started on Thursday by a lightning strike and grew over the weekend because of strong winds.
