The good citizens of Salisbury and Rowan County lost a “giant” of a man with the passing of Dr. Myron Goodman. All of us will be affectionately sharing stories about Dr. Goodman over the next weeks and months. There is a roaring and triumphant crowd as Dr. Goodman approaches. In his all too familiar caring and comforting way, Dr. Goodman moves in closer to God, places that very cold stethoscope on his chest, and I hear him say in that raspy voice, “deep breath, deep breath, deep breath.” Dr. Myron Goodman touched the lives of hundreds of people in many positive ways.
