Hebron firefighters were called to Log Cabin Road just before 2pm on Saturday, August 1st. Firefighters arriving at the scene found fire in the attic. Multiple fire companies assisted to help put out the fire or provide backup. Investigators say that there was an activated smoke alarm and the fire originated on the exterior deck area next to a wooden fence – the cause was accidental due to discarded smoking materials. Damage is estimated at $60,000.
