Chinese autonomous driving company WeRide has entered into a partnership with Danish car-sharing operator GreenMobility to introduce driverless mobility services in Denmark. GreenMobility will contribute its experience from operating shared electric vehicles in Denmark, while WeRide will provide the autonomous driving technology. The project will be developed in cooperation with the Danish Road Directorate and the Danish Road Traffic Authority. WeRide says its autonomous driving technology is currently deployed in more than 40 cities across 12 countries. Further details about the planned Danish service are expected in the coming months.
