The Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, has announced that 39 vessels transporting petroleum products, food commodities and other cargoes are scheduled to arrive at Lagos ports between Monday and Saturday. The projection was contained in the authority’s Daily Shipping Position released on Monday, detailing expected vessel traffic at Apapa Port, Lekki Deep Sea Port and Tincan Island Port. “The vessels are expected at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port and Tincan Island Port between Aug. 3 and Aug. 8,” the authority stated. The ships currently on standby are carrying petrol, crude oil, bulk wheat, fertiliser, containers and other general cargoes, according to the shipping schedule. It stated that 21 vessels are presently offloading cargoes at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port and Tincan Island Port.
