FRASER Health announced on Monday afternoon that Mission and surrounding area residents that due to physician staffing challenges at Mission Memorial Hospital, it is implementing a temporary service interruption in the emergency department beginning Monday, August 3 at 5 p.m. to Tuesday, August 4 at 8 a.m. Emergency Health Services to ensure patients requiring a higher level of care are directed or transferred to an appropriate hospital emergency service.
