Ethics complaint alleges Western Pinal constable overstepped authorityJudge Patricia Glover on July 22 filed an ethics complaint against Western Pinal Justice Court Constable Bill Griffin, alleging he repeatedly stepped beyond the constable’s authority by giving legal advice, involving himself in pending court cases and failing to follow established court procedures. The complaint, submitted to the Arizona Constable Ethics Standards and Training Board, documents 21 incidents between June 24, 2025, and July 14, 2026. It alleges Griffin misinterpreted statutes, undermined court orders, involved third parties in pending court matters and repeatedly acted outside the scope of his authority. She said Griffin’s actions crossed the line from executing court orders to becoming personally involved in the dispute.
