The latest results strengthen the company’s case that Llahuin may host a large, vertically extensive copper porphyry system. The standout result came from Ferro South, with a 241m intercept grading 0.42 per cent copper equivalent from a shallow 18m, including a richer 143m interval grading 0.51 per cent copper equivalent from 36m. At the Cerro prospect, other significant results include 154m grading 0.66 per cent copper equivalent from surface and 156m at 0.43 per cent copper equivalent from 2m, including 106m at 0.51 per cent copper equivalent. On the back of the deeper drilling results, management says mineralisation remains open at depth, supporting its view that the Cerro-Ferro trend hosts a substantial copper porphyry system with significant expansion potential. The broader mineralised system extends about 6kms when the Southern Porphyry ground is included and contains additional undrilled targets.
