Backs Mohsin Naqvi’s call for dialogue among all stakeholders. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Nadeem Afzal Chan has warned that his party could withdraw its support for the federal government at an appropriate time, saying the current administration has failed to effectively address the country’s challenges. Nadeem Afzal Chan also called for a national debate on Pakistan’s system of governance, questioning whether the country should continue under the parliamentary system or consider moving towards a presidential model. Criticising the government’s overall performance, Chan said the administration has failed to deliver and reiterated that the PPP could decide to withdraw its support from the government if the situation demands it.
