McClellandtownGerald Andrew Surak, 69, of McClellandtown, passed peacefully in his home Saturday, August 1, 2026, surrounded by his wife, daughter, and loved ones after a lengthy battle with Metastatic Melanoma. Preceding him in death were his parents, Andrew J. Surak, Sr. and Anne Palencher Surak; and brothers, Andrew J. Surak, Jr. and Robert A. Surak. Gerald was a graduate of German High School, Class of 1975. Gerald was a member, usher, and active community member of Saint Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Farmington. He was an avid sportsman, loved his four cats, cherished his granddaughter greatly, and was a loving husband and father.
