The blaze broke out at Pennyquick Hill in Bath just before 1pm on August 3 of this year. Fire crews from Avon Fire and Rescue Service were called to tackle the blaze, extinguished the flames and remain at the scene to ensure there are no hotspots. A spokesman for Avon Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 12:54 PM on the 3rd August, multiple crews from Avon Fire and Rescue Service responded to a large grass fire Pennyquick Hill, Bath. "Crews remain at the scene carrying out checks for hotspots. Residents are still encouraged to avoid the area while emergency services respond.
