The success of the recent Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie hasn’t only helped fill the coffers of Sony’s movie arm—it has pushed players towards Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man games in droves.
Also feeling the love is Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, which has peaked even higher with around 15,000 concurrent players across Brand New Day’s release weekend.
That figure brings it back into the top 100 games on Steam for the first time since October 2023, when Insomniac Games first launched Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to rapturous reviews.
PC isn’t the only platform catching Spidey fever—PlayStation players are also enjoying the buzz with both Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered appearing on the most-played charts at #13 and #25 respectively.
Spider-Man’s latest film outing, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, launched in the U.S. on July 31, receiving stellar critical and fan feedback.
