ELKINS – A Randolph County man charged with writing worthless checks on several occasions, totaling around $8,000, has entered into a plea agreement. The state was represented by Assistant Randolph County Prosecutor Leckta Poling. The plea was accepted by Randolph County Magistrate Benjamin Shepler. The first check was written on March 22 for $2,084 and the second check was written on April 22 for $1,683, both of which totaled $3,767, the complaint states. Bonetti with the West Virginia State Police Elkins Detachment, on July 7, Bonetti made contact with the second alleged victim, an employee of Kleis Equipment LLC.
