St. Paul’s budget gap is raising concerns about higher property taxes and what that could mean for landlords and renters.
Richard Kronfeld and his wife Robin Doroshow bought a building on Portland Avenue in St. Paul in 2022.

The couple’s planned sale and Smith’s concerns come as St. Paul leaders weigh how to close the city’s budget deficit.
