President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Francis Wale Oke, has condemned the National Assembly over reports of plans to prohibit preaching in commercial buses across the country, urging Christians to continue evangelising in buses, taxis and other public places. Speaking in a viral video, the PFN National President said Christians would not obey any law that prevents them from preaching the gospel, insisting that they would rather obey God than man. He maintained that believers would continue preaching in buses and other public places because Christ commanded them to spread the gospel to every creature. Oke challenged the authorities to enforce such a law, saying he wanted to see how more than 65 million Christians under the PFN would be imprisoned. Oke also warned those promoting the law to repent, saying they would face God’s judgment if they failed to do so.
