She was born July 11, 1942 in in Fortville, Indiana to Patricia Langsford Garst and George Garst, and was a member of the Congregation of St. Joseph. She is survived by her sisters Margaret Garst, Elizabeth Garst and Agnes Garst and her brother Daniel Garst, her nieces Christa Willis and Julie Grant and nephews Jeffery Garst and Michael Tibbe. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Nazareth, MI. Memorials may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph.
