Residents across Philadelphia are taking extra precautions to protect their deliveries as reported package thefts continue to increase across the city. According to police data obtained by NBC10, the most reported package thefts in 2025 occurred in the Philadelphia Police Department's 22nd District, which includes North Philadelphia neighborhoods such as Strawberry Mansion and Brewerytown. At this point in 2024, the 3rd District led the city with 159 reported package thefts. This year, the district again leads Philadelphia with 185 reported package thefts. The 26th District, which includes Fishtown and Kensington, also consistently ranks among the top three Philadelphia police districts for reported package thefts.
