First of all, Spokane, a lovely city in which I spent my 46th birthday, is in danger of burning up. Thousands of people had to leave their homes as fires exploded in the Spokane area over the weekend. Firefighters working on the three major wildfires burning in Spokane County report personal drones are hurting their efforts. According to Tom Stokesberry with Incident Command, firefighters had 26 incidents of people flying personal drones over the fires. In what seems like almost incomprehensible good luck, nobody has been killed in the Spokane fires yet.
