Police agencies throughout Southwest Michigan will host National Night Out events Tuesday. Officer Josh Allen is the organizer of this year’s event in St. Joseph Township. He tells us the local Night Out is now in its 37th year and will include the St. Joseph Township Police Department, the St. Joseph Department of Public Safety, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department, the Lincoln Township Police Department, Michigan State Police, and several fire departments. The Night Out in St. Joseph Township will be at Maiden Lane Community Park from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The Buchanan Police Department will hold a Night Out at McCoy Creek Park from 6 to 9 p.m.
