The first in a series of public meetings to plan for the future of the riverfront and downtown in Benton Harbor has been held with another set for Wednesday. Cusato said Notre Dame got involved in the partnership through its 100 Mile Coalition, which works with communities to address housing, transportation, flooding, and downtown development. After that, Notre Dame will draft a final report, expected to take about nine months. All sessions are free and open to the public and will be held at the Benton Harbor Urban Innovation Lab, 510 W.
