Court Cites Witness Tampering Risk in Dr. Victoria Mutiso Murder Case
['Richard Kamau']
Nairobi Wire
A Nairobi court has ordered a mother and son held for 21 days as police probe the murder of clinical psychologist Dr. Victoria Nthunya Mutiso.
An affidavit sworn by Corporal Romana Oduor reveals that Dr. Mutiso had reported threats against her life weeks before her death.
Dr. Mutiso escaped unharmed and filed a report at Kilimani Police Station.
Gunmen killed Dr. Mutiso inside a taxi in Nairobi’s Upper Hill neighborhood, just 24 days after she reported the Ngong Road gun incident.
Chief Government Pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor conducted the autopsy, determining that Dr. Mutiso died from multiple gunshot wounds after being shot three times, including twice in the head.
