Dhaka, Aug 3: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Tamim Iqbal visited the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru as part of efforts to develop a world-class high-performance centre in Bangladesh. Accompanied by BCB officials Shanian Taneem and Fahim Sinha, Tamim toured the facility on August 1 to study its infrastructure, training systems and operational model. The visit is aimed at strengthening Bangladesh’s cricket infrastructure, with the proposed Centre of Excellence planned at Purbachal alongside the National Cricket Ground. Tamim has identified the project as one of the BCB’s key long-term priorities.
