New Chair Appointed For Central South Island Water LimitedTimaru District Mayor Nigel Bowen, Chair of the Joint Shareholders Committee representing Timaru District Council and Mackenzie District Council, has announced the appointment of Justin Riley as Chair and Director of Central South Island Water Limited, the new water services organisation being established by the two councils.
Central South Island Water Limited will assume responsibility for the delivery of drinking water and wastewater services across the Timaru and Mackenzie districts from 1 July 2027.
