Dominion Energy estimates its 2.6-GW Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project will cost about $11.7 billion when all is said and done, up nearly $300 million from its most recent cost estimate in April, the company said Friday.
Others included higher fuel costs and Dominion Virginia’s June “reentry” into the PJM Interconnection capacity market, the company said.
Dominion reported net income of $340 million in the second quarter, down from $760 million in Q2 2025.
He predicted Dominion and NextEra would try to reach a settlement before hearings begin on Nov. 17.
