OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – Heavy rain and strong showers and storms rolled through the area yesterday, and a few rain showers continued as we started our Monday morning. Sunday’s cool front will be moving slightly back to the north and will be close enough to trigger a few storms. Even with a 30% chance for rain, it will still be the best day of the week – a definite sign of how active it will be over the next seven days. Much better rain chances are in the forecast on Wednesday as another front approaches from the northwest, driven by a low passing to our north. Disturbances will push through the region regularly during the last few days of the forecast period, leading to rain chances each day.
