Chümoukedima, August 3 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, Nand Kishore Yadav, attended the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Nagaland, Chümoukedima, on August 2. The Governor also visited a poster exhibition showcasing awareness campaigns and creative exhibits prepared by students as part of the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan. Appreciating the students’ creativity and commitment, the Governor encouraged them to become ambassadors of the movement and spread the message of a drug-free future in their communities. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr Manoj E Prabhakar, Registrar, NIT Nagaland. Faculty members, students, staff and officials of NIT Nagaland participated in the programme, collectively reaffirming their commitment to supporting the Government of India’s 100-week Nasha Mukt Yuva for Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan and promoting a healthier, addiction-free society through sustained awareness and youth-led initiatives.
