Train operations over the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section are currently being maintained through Line-3 under enhanced safety measures while restoration work is underway, the NFR said. 15615 Guwahati–Silchar Express, scheduled to commence its journey on August 4, has been cancelled. 15616 Silchar–Guwahati Express, scheduled to commence its journey on August 5, has also been cancelled. 15628 Silchar–Coimbatore Express, commencing its journey on August 4, has been rescheduled to depart at 4.10 am on August 5. 15625 Deoghar–Agartala Express, commencing its journey on August 3, will be regulated en route suitably, the NFR said.
