Bluefield - Marvin Darrell Epperson, 56, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026 with his family by his side. Born in Bluefield, WV, he was a member of the Bluefield High School class of 1989. Marvin never met a stranger and had the ability to make friends with people from all walks of life. Marvin is survived by his wife, Melissa Epperson, son Zack Epperson and fiance McKenna Wrobel, grandson Briar Epperson, sister Lisa Epperson, and cousins Diana Epperson Tyree, Steve Edwards, Greg Aust, Joey Edwards, special friends Michael and Kym Ray, and his beloved dog PupPup. He is proceeded in death by his father Fount Epperson, his mother Paulette Epperson, brother Gary Epperson, and uncle Bob Edwards.
