Premcar has a long-standing relationship with Nissan to fettle its products, but the Australian engineering firm has been busily working with a Chinese automaker to ensure its debut ute can handle local conditions. “Chery has gone the extra mile with its first-ever Stockman ute,” said Premcar CEO Bernie Quinn. Braked towing capacity is 3500kg, and the Stockman diesel PHEV features double-wishbone front suspension and leaf springs at the rear.
