The pass already gives 16 to 18-year-olds free bus travel, but from January next year it will be extended to 11 to 16-year-olds. "It felt really fitting that we came to Bolton town centre today to be able to get that message across. Our Pass, introduced in 2019, gives 16 to 18-year-olds free bus travel to make getting to education, training and opportunities easier. For the first time, all children aged between 11 and 18 in Greater Manchester will travel free on the city region's buses.
