A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Kurnool on Monday sentenced former Assistant General Manager (AGM) (air traffic management) of Kadapa Airport, M. Rangachari Srinivasan, to three years of rigorous imprisonment in a bribery case. The CI said Suresh was addicted to alcohol and had allegedly subjected his wife to physical abuse for some time. When Ashok told him he was unable to repay, Srinivasulu allegedly attacked him on the head with a wooden pestle, killing him on the spot.
