The Senate Secretariat has conducted another comprehensive training session on its E-Office System as part of its ongoing digital transformation drive aimed at modernizing parliamentary administration and improving governance.
The initiative is being implemented under the leadership of Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, who has advocated the use of digital technologies to transform the Senate Secretariat into a modern, efficient, transparent, and paperless institution.
According to the Secretariat, the E-Office System is replacing the traditional paper-based filing process with a secure and integrated digital platform, helping improve administrative efficiency and public service delivery.
The training session was jointly conducted by the IT Directorate and Muhammad Wajahat Saeed, Deputy Director at the National Information Technology Board (NITB).
While the IT Directorate has overseen the implementation of the E-Office System within the Senate Secretariat, NITB has provided technical expertise, system customization, and hands-on training to support its effective rollout.
