AGC Inc. (Tokyo, Japan) has entered into a share transfer agreement with Saint-Gobain K.K. (Tokyo, Japan), the Japanese subsidiary of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain S.A. (Courbevoie, France). Under the agreement, AGC will transfer all of its shares in AGC Polymer Material Co., Ltd. (APK; Tokyo, Japan), a consolidated subsidiary in which AGC holds a 50.72% stake, to Saint-Gobain K.K. (Tokyo, Japan). Under its medium-term management plan AGC plus-2026, the AGC Group is pursuing business portfolio transformation.
