SUDLERSVILLE, Md. – Five people were displaced Monday morning following a house fire in Sudlersville. At 8:55 a.m. on Aug. 3, crews with the Goodwill Volunteer Fire Company and other area departments responded to the 1300 block of Sudlersville Road after a neighbor discovered and reported a fire. The total damage to the house and its contents is estimated to be valued at $100,000. The fire has been deemed accidental, and the result of an unspecified electrical failure involving a window air conditioning unit.
