Beyond kinetic actions!
['Faisal Ahmad']
Pakistan Observer
DEBATE surrounding governance, administrative restructuring and the creation of new provinces has taken centre stage in Pakistan’s national discourse nowadays.
To achieve lasting peace in Balochistan, kinetic operations must be accompanied by non-kinetic measures led directly by civilian political leadership.
Security forces can clear areas and establish operational control, but only transparent, accountable institutions can build enduring stability.
They should engage in meaningful political dialogue, enacting institutional reforms and ensure that public services reach every corner of the province.
National stability depends on strong political will, uncompromising governance reforms, fair resource distribution and the courage to replace outdated feudal structures with inclusive institutions.
