MINOT — Fargo Mayor Josh Boschee has officially resigned from the state Senate, where he's served since 2024 after a tenure in the state House that began in 2013. "Please accept this letter as my formal resignation as state Senator for District 44, effective August 4, 2026," Boschee wrote in a letter to Senate Majority Leader David Hogue. "With the convening of a special legislative session, I have moved up my timeline to ensure District 44 can appoint a replacement in time to have a new Senator in place to prepare for and participate in the special session."
