Eala won 80 of the 141 points contested and converted five of nine break-point opportunities. 3 in the world and seeded first in Washington, won her first WTA singles championship at the same tournament in 2019. The Washington championship was Eala’s first title on the main WTA Tour and her first at the WTA 500 level. She had previously won WTA 125 tournaments in Guadalajara in 2025 and Birmingham in June 2026, competitions that are classified separately from main-tour events. Eala reached her first tour-level final at Eastbourne in 2025 but lost to Australia’s Maya Joint in a deciding-set tiebreak.
