The Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA) confirmed last week that it has taken promotion of the AASA Race Series (formerly Hi-Tec Oils Super Series) under its own control after the platform was quietly renamed with no warning. With just under two weeks until the round, entries are now open for all categories. Several new entries are expected to be on track at QR, including Toyota 86s and additional Ginetta entries alongside regular contender Anthony Levitt. AEC headlines Round 4 of the AASA Race Series, with the TA2 Muscle Car Series and AASA Australian Formula Ford Championship returning as key categories. Round 4 of the AASA Race Series, Fight in the Night, will be held on August 14-16.
