(KSTP) — The Minnesota Twins have added yet another pitcher before Monday night’s trade deadline. Sources say that the Toronto Blue Jays are trading relief pitcher Jeff Hoffman to the Twins. Hoffman spent the first five seasons of his career with the Colorado Rockies, two with the Cincinnati Reds, two with the Philadelphia Phillies and the last two years with the Toronto Blue Jays. In 583 career innings pitched, Hoffman has recorded a 4.69 ERA, 638 strikeouts and a 1.391 WHIP. Minter from the Mets and reliever Tommy Nance, also from the Blue Jays.
