Manse Road will be closed to vehicles from August 10 to September 6, or until the works are complete. Fife Council has confirmed both closures are tied to Persimmon’s Primrose Gardens development of 191 homes on farmland between the A92 and Manse Road at the northern edge of the village. While the initial two‑week closure focused on sewer works at the bottom of the street, the latest phase is further up Manse Road and involves installing the sewer and ducting for water connections into the new properties. Access for residents, emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained while the closure is in force, but through‑traffic will not be permitted. Drivers are being urged to plan ahead, follow diversion signs and allow extra time for journeys through Crossgates during the disruption.
