Police Scotland has launched a search for a missing South Lanarkshire man as concerns for his welfare grow. Ian Ward was last seen around 8am on Monday in the Barrs Lane area of Carluke and has connections to Wishaw. Inspector Kat Thomson said: “Concerns are growing for Ian’s welfare and we need to make sure he is safe and well. Those with information are urged to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 0662 of Monday, August 3, 2026.
