Our friends over at F150gen14.com just posted what is allegedly the 2027 Ford F-150 order guide (<--download there). If this is accurate, and we have no reason to believe it isn’t, huge changes are coming to the 2027 F-150. The biggest bombshell is that Ford is dropping the base 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine from the lineup. In its place, we have the twin-turbo 3.0L EcoBoost V6 from the Explorer, Bronco, and Ranger Raptor. A modest five pound-feet increase in torque but a massive 75 horsepower increase over the outgoing 2.7L.
