Boy George hits out at Bandcamp for removing his AI pro-Israel song: “What a bunch of…”Boy George has condemned Bandcamp for removing his new pro-Israel single, ‘We Will Dance Again’, which he made with the assistance of AI.
It comes after Boy George had posted a series of links to his Bandcamp profile on X on August 2nd, before his account became no longer visible.
The platform previously stated: “Music and audio that is generated wholly or in substantial part by AI is not permitted on Bandcamp.”
Last week, Boy George admitted to using AI on the track, writing on Threads, “The song was created using AI.
Amid the backlash to ‘We Will Dance Again’, Boy George withdrew from starring in Jesus Christ Superstar in the West End.
