The 2013 film Anne Hathaway was desperate to emulate: “Please help me find a movie like this”As a former child star, it would have been very easy for Anne Hathaway to be typecast as an adult, where success with The Princess Diaries and Ella Enchanted could have led her down a path of tedious romcoms and low-budget fantasies, but instead, she has been able to branch out and enjoy an extremely varied career.
The Nacho Vigalondo-directed film embodies a number of genres, ranging from traditional kaiju movies to black comedy.
