The Friends of Ilkley Cemetery will host the walk on Saturday, August 15, at 2pm, with participants meeting at the Ashlands Road entrance to the cemetery. The walk will be led by local historian Denise Shillitoe, who will explore the lives of people buried or commemorated in the cemetery whose stories are linked to Ilkley's hydros, including owners, patients, visitors and workers. Organisers expect the guided walk to last between 60 and 75 minutes. Visitors are advised that some cemetery paths are rough or uneven and care should be taken when moving around the site.
