U.S. Sen. Todd Young (R-IN) recently unveiled a bipartisan bill that would reauthorize $50 million annually through fiscal year 2030 for the Build to Scale (B2S) program, a federal grant initiative that invests in regional economies by supporting technology-driven startups, entrepreneurs, and local innovation ecosystems. “America’s long-term economic strength depends on our ability to turn innovation into opportunity,” Sen. Young said. “The Build to Scale program helps entrepreneurs, universities, investors, and local organizations work together to develop new technologies, launch businesses, and create good-paying jobs. Sen. Young on July 30 sponsored the Build to Scale Reauthorization Act of 2026, S. 5198, to also expand access to capital for entrepreneurs and technology startups seeking to commercialize new ideas and products, according to a bill summary provided by Sen.
