GKN Aerospace expands NH facility to boost engine component productionemail0LinkedinPrintGKN Aerospace is expanding its North Charlestown, New Hampshire, manufacturing facility, adding approximately 57,000 square feet and tripling the site’s size to increase production of high-performance aero-engine components. The investment strengthens operational ties with GKN Aerospace’s Muncie, Indiana, facility, combining advanced forging capabilities with precision machining to provide an integrated manufacturing solution for critical engine components. “We are investing in engine component manufacturing capabilities where our customers need us most,” said Alexander Andersson, senior vice president of product solutions. The investment comes as aerospace manufacturers face increasing demand and constrained industry capacity for compressor blades and vanes, positioning GKN Aerospace to expand production of critical engine components.
