She was born in Zanesville, Ohio, on October 16, 1933, the youngest child born to the late Lucinda Blanche (Buker) Scott and Herbert Stanley Scott. Her siblings, Ernest, Lillian, and Russell; her beloved husband, Irvin Fitzer; and her daughter, Patricia, preceded her in death. Jane was a 1951 graduate of Jefferson High School and spent most of her lifetime as a devoted stay-at-home mother to her children, Patricia (Archie), Herbert, and Greg (Anita). Jane attended every Tri-Valley High School basketball game from 1967 until 1981, driving thousands of miles to attend away games. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tri-Valley High School Athletic Department in Jane’s memory.
